Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Ltd (Bajaj Allianz Life) was incorporated in Mar 2001 as a JV between Bajaj Auto Ltd and Allianz SE, Germany. Bajaj Allianz is a private sector insurance company involved in traditional life insurance and unit-linked insurance business.

Bajaj Allianz Life offers a range of insurance plans such as unit linked plans, retirement plans, endownment & money back plans, term plans, health plans and plans for women & children. The company also provides additional rider plans for both unit & non-unit linked products; group insurance plans and micro finance plans. During FY08, the company operated with a sales force of around 250,239 agents. For FY08, the NPE by the company registered a y-o-y growth of over 82%. As on Mar 31 2008, the total individual policies issued by the company stood at 6,184,000 of which ULIPs constituted of over 90%. During FY08, the company launched several new policies like Health+Life policy that provides health insurance benefits coupled with life insurance and Super Saver which is a regular premium endowment plan especially for farmers and rural individuals.
