Empowering SMEs for Global Effectiveness

It is by now a well-established fact that SMEs serve the dual purpose of nurturing entrepreneurship and at the same time acting as a key stimulator to the country’s economic development. Their contribution to the industrial sector of the country is invaluable as they account for approximately 45% of the manufacturing output and 40% of the total exports of India. The critical role of this sector in the socio-economic context is underscored by the fact that the SME sector provides livelihood to nearly 100 Mn people. Recognizing this pivotal role of SMEs, Dun & Bradstreet India has always supported and encouraged them to grow and attain a significantly mature level within the shortest possible period. Over a period of time, D&B Learning Solutions has played a significant part in providing a strong support helping them to recognize their untapped potential.
Since 2006, D&B Learning Solutions has focused on a number of SME and Cluster Specific Initiatives through various SME focused trainings, workshops, seminars, literacy programmes and other networking events. The programme aims to expand the touch points for small and medium-sized enterprises and equip them with the right medium to explore new market opportunities. Most of the SMEs across the country get to participate in these cluster events and networking gatherings to learn more about the latest market trends and information, reach out to more industry peers and explore more business opportunities.
