Alok Kumbhat is the Director of Data and Strategy at Dun & Bradstreet India. In this role, Alok is responsible for guiding Dun & Bradstreet’s ongoing transformation including its digital growth strategy in our current and new market segments. Further, he is responsible for driving Alliances and Partnerships, P&L for cross-border business and Global Data Operations for India.
Alok has been with Dun & Bradstreet for over 16 years with a successful track record in developing product lines involving data, software platforms and customized Solution for SMEs and Large Corporates. During this period, he handled multiple roles and responsibilities in the areas of Product Innovation, Business Development, Data Operations, Strategy, designing new market strategies and operations in the Risk Management, Compliance and Advanced Marketing domains.
He played key role in the launch of various global and domestic products such as D&B Credit, Master Data Management, and D&B iAccess. He was involved in the launch of India’s first Rating Agency dedicated for SMEs Acuite Ratings & Research (erstwhile SMERA Ratings Limited) and also driving key strategic client relationships for Dun & Bradstreet India. He has worked in developing customized risk score models for Industry Leaders in multiple verticals such as Pharma, Auto, BFSI, Engineering, IT & ITeS, etc.
Alok is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI in India and Company Secretary from ICSI in India. He has also completed his Executive Post Graduate Program in Finance and Strategy from IIM – Kozhikode.
